Neal White ~ The Office of Experiments |

THE VOID This work was based on a lost event, Yves Klein experimental cocktail, given out informally at the opening of 'Le Vide' in Paris in 1958, but which caused the urine of drinkers to turn intense (dare I say IKB®*) blue, for a week. In the event structure that is THE VOID, over 100 people decided to recreate the experience personally through SELF-EXPERIMENTATION. The artwork in effect was experienced and viewed only in the privacy of participants bathrooms. The project was developed at NIMR and written up as a clinical trial. More information is available in the article; The Ethics of the Void. Contemporary Magazine. Issue No.81 Dowload as PDF NB: The Office of Experiments is currenlty investigating the development of an open source version of IKB® - International Klein Blue. An event performed after the Self-Rapport workshops, organised by Katrin Soldhju from the 'Experimentization of Life' Research Department.
